Howell Mountain Auction

We participated in the "Taste of Howell Mountain" wine auction, along with our famous winemaking neighbors, on Saturday June 20th.  The response from the 400 attendees was extremely positive.  People found our 2005 Camiana to be, in the words of just a few who tasted,

• "elegant and approachable"
• "interesting and complex mid-palate"
• "a great food-friendly wine"  

The auction gave Annie and me a chance to meet many of our Howell Mountain neighbors and to sample their wines as well.  Enthused by the success of the auction, we want you to know first that Blue Hall
will be participating at another exclusive wine tasting event later this summer in San Francisco on August 31.

We will be pouring our 2005 inaugural release, the library release 2004 and maybe even a barrel sample of the 2006 future release.  This is another fun opportunity to see us, introduce a friend to Blue Hall, and taste our wines.

Solage Serves Camiana

We are pleased to report that the Solage Calistoga resort, Napa Valley's hottest new luxury resort, has just added Camiana to their wine list!

Solage has won numerous awards since opening last year, including Conde Nast Traveler hot list 2008, Los Angeles magazine top 25 weekend getaways and Sunset magazine's Top 10 midweek escapes for two.  We are very pleased that Camiana can be part of romantic getaway trips to Napa.
